The International Master in Cell and Stem cell Biology at UPMC

At the academic level, UPMC will provide an open access to selected courses and workshops (relevant to the field of cell and stem cell biology) from the Master of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology to students enrolled in the International Master Programme and registered at UPMC, Erasmus University Rotterdam or University of Barcelona.

The Master of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology offers education of excellence in molecular and cell biology and in biochemistry, covering both theoretical and practical levels, followed by specialization in cell biology and stem cell biology. The program aims at providing students with the methodological concepts and tools needed to acquire top-level skills in these fields. Students graduating with a Science & Technology Master’s degree in molecular and cell biology will be qualified with the following general skills: to analyze a situation, to establish documentary records and summarize them, to carry out a project and take initiatives, to communicate in a foreign language (English at least), to work as part of a team, to have a thorough scientific and technical knowledge in molecular and cell biology.

At the research level, UPMC and its partner institutes (Institut Pasteur, Institut Curie, IBPC, Institut du Fer-à-Moulin…) will provide numerous opportunities for research training.
